Founder's notes::
Welcome to the Left-Handers, a club for the left-handed artists out there. I was browsing through a club listing when I realized that I have yet to find a decent club just for lefties. With myself being a lefty, I felt that with us in the minority, we should join together and create a community inside a community itself. So we could all get to know each other a little more. But I might be stretching that last bit. Bet hey, if you're a lefty, and you want to join. Just send me a note.

February 10 First off, I would like to apologize for the EXTREME lack of updates. For the longest time I've forgotten my duty as the founder of this club. But, while I was 'taking a hiatus' I've come up with an idea for a contest, as well as getting three new members! Everyone welcome ~flying-squid ~MidnightghostXIII and ~cornflake666

April 14 Sorry for not checking up on the club for a bit. But in my absence we've gotten four new members! ~bigducky ~tehalienfetus ~AwesomeAli and ~SStefan We're growing! Also, I've switched accounts, I was previously known as NeoLupeLvr911, but now Mishiro-Ooka... so yea.

February 10 I've been grounded.... but we have a new member! Everyone welcome ~Blooming!

December 10 Forgot to update this a while ago. But we have TWO new members. One joined a long time ago, and I keep forgetting to add her, and I talked with the second one offline since she's my friend and she'd love to join. Anybody's welcome to join! Remember that! Oh yea, I also applied to ~TheList for a listing. I don't know when they'll update that account though, so I'll just have to wait.

October 17 Spiffy! We have another member! I feel as though we're on a role. In order to get more people, I'm thinking about listing us in a dA Club listing, anybody think it's a good idea?

Joining

If you wish to join the Left-Handers, just drop off a note titled 'Joining' to . It's that simple. Believe me, I'll know what you're talking about. If you send a note to this account, I probably won't see it as often as I would see it on my main account. Also, as soon as you join, please let the world know that you are a proud lefty by putting : iconleft-handers : in your journal (minus all the spaces).

CONTEST!

Our first contest! Deadline has not been set yet, but the contest is to create some form of a mascot for the club! The mascot can be drawn, described in a story, the character of a story, it's all up to you! There are no limitations to creativity.

Submitting Deviations

To submit a deviation, all you have to do is send a note to ~Mishiro-Ooka with the title of the artwork as the subject line. Please include a link to the original piece and the description you would like to be put in the Artist's Comments. Also, if it is a story or poem, please include if you would like a preview picture. Any kind of artwork is fine.
